Dr. Madireddi Sujatha is a Clinical geneticist and genetic counsellor with more than 35 years of experience. She is an experienced researcher with expertise in the diagnosis and management of Genetic Disorders. She has visited and underwent training in Clinical Genetics, Pre-natal Diagnosis and Genetic Counselling in Germany, United Kingdom and U.S.A. She is a visiting professor in the Dept. of Clinical Genetics, Prenatal diagnosis and Genetic Counseling in United Kingdom and Johns Hopkins Hospital, USA.
She has 35 years experience of teaching in subjects of Clinical Genetics, Genetic counselling, Human Genetics, MD, Pediatrics, Medical Biochemistry and Obstetrics & Gynecology. She is a recognized research supervisor, in Genetics and Zoology, Faculty of Science, Osmania University, and NTR University of Health Sciences. 12 Students have been awarded Ph.D.’s under her guideship. She is the Principal Investigator and principal Co Investigator in projects sanctioned by DST,DBT and UGC. She has attended and presented numerous papers at various National and International Conferences. She published about 225 papers in National and International Journals. She worked as an Organizing Secretary and Scientific Secretary for many National and International Conferences organized by the Institute of Genetics and also she is a Reviewer for International Journals
